Relax – 360 panoramic views to destress
Hilltop fun – take a dip in the pool, take turns on the kid’s zipline, play a game of HORSE, practice roping the sawhorse bull, play a game of full size Jenga, walk the paved path (6 times around makes 1 mile), read a book in the 2 person hammock, grill/smoke some BBQ or just sit and take in the view.
Campfire – Our Solo Stove provides a low smoke campfire so you can enjoy S’mores and family time fireside. (S’mores kit provided & 1st fire set up and ready to light).
Hikes & Nature Walks – Take a stroll on the mowed and rock paths throughout the ranch. Hunt for fossils, animal tracks and complete our scavenger hunt.
Walk the fence line and meet our friends. 9 longhorn graze in the north pasture and many black cows, calves and our resident donkey (Lightening) graze in the south pasture.
Scorpion Hunt – When it gets dark, grab our blacklight flashlight and head outside to search for scorpions (they glow bright green in the blacklight). Just don’t try to grab them.
Fish in the pond – The kids will have a blast fishing for perch and bass in the pond. We provide kid fishing poles and bait.
Stargaze – After dark explore the blanket of stars with our telescope. Download the Sky Guide app to get your constellation groove on.
Inside Family Fun -Head indoors, light a fire and pop some popcorn (popcorn provided). Break out the board games, puzzles, and movies for more family fun.

Glen Rose (25 minutes away). See real T-Rex footprints at Dinosaur Valley State Park. Hand feed giraffes from your car at Fossil Rim. Jump giant boulders on the Paluxy River at Big Rocks Park. Enjoy live music and BBQ at Loco Coyote.
Meridian State Park (25 minutes away). Discover beautiful limestone bluffs. Get on the water. Rent kayaks, canoes or paddleboards inside the park. Fish off the pier. The kids can even become Junior Rangers for the day.
Clifton (30 minutes away). Explore the shops and find all of the gnomes in this quaint Norwegian downtown. Get your wine on at the Red Caboose Winery. Don’t forget to grab a pizza at Royal Pizza or sit on the patio at Olaf’s and listen to live music.
Cleburne (30 minutes away). Discover the art walk and the murals downtown. Hike over 13 miles of trails, rent a kayak or paddleboard and get out on the 116-acre spring-fed lake, bike the 6-mile loop. Experience Texas as it was for the cowboys, visit the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum.
Hico (40 minutes away). Take a stroll through this historic town. Check out the Billy the Kid Museum. Stop in the Silver Spur Winery for a tasting. Get your chocolate fix at the Wiseman House. Shop for unique finds at Blue Star Trading and Hico Mercantile.
Waco (50 minutes away). Take a day trip to Waco. Head to Magnolia Market at the Silos and enjoy all things Chip and Joanna. Check out the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame. See real mammoth bones at Mammoth National Monument. Take a walk through the beautiful Baylor campus.
